Captain Derick Thrappas
A Maryland native obtained his USCG 100 ton Captains license at the young age of 19. He has a very diverse background in the marine industry from serving in the Coast Guard for 20 years being stationed up and down the east coast from Key West FL, to Philadelphia PA, has allowed him to work on charter boats in Englewood FL, Yankeetown FL, Daytona Beach FL, Key West FL, Baltimore MD, Deale MD, Chesapeake Beach MD, Solomons island MD, and Cape Charles VA. He has worked for one of the biggest waterfowl outfitters on the east coast duckguide.com for 5 years and counting filling the role of a captain/guide running 100's of clients a year. A second generation commercial crabbing and fishing license holder licensed to crab or fish anything maryland has to offer. Captain Derick is an American Boating and yachting Counel (ABYC) Master technician so you can assure everything is in good order. Captain Derick has two beautiful young girls so bring the kids along we can handle them!
